New York Life Insurance Company Announces the Greek Life Insurance Policy Program Welcome
On March 26, 2010, letters were sent to each claimant, informing him or her of the Board's decision. Those claimants whose claims were approved have also received a check, made payable in U.S. dollars. The amount of the check was calculated based on the policy's face amount, adjusted in accordance with the Greek Life Insurance Policy Program guidelines, and the number of approved claims for that particular policy. If more than one claim was approved for a particular policy, the policy proceeds were divided equally between or among those claimants whose claims were approved. |
